My bay mare QH rescue, Greta, is no longer in need of a new home -- I've decided to keep her.

Greta was saved from a Texas slaughterhouse last year. She was in poor shape when she arrived, but is looking great now.

Although she was offered for re-homing, she will be staying on, instead.

Many thanks to those who expressed interest in her. Be assured she will have a good life here for the rest of her days.

We are located just east of Auburn, CA, in the heart of the historic Gold Country region. We are close to the 100 mile trail course of the Tevis Cup Endurance Ride and the Western States Endurance Run, plus many other foot trails first blazed by Indigenous Americans along the American River and Bear River canyons. Our area is also a major destination for both road and MB cyclists.
